The event season has started! Traffic Management has been successfully carried out for the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon. After receiving great feedback, RTS secure the event for 2014.

Following the sad news of Margaret Thatcher's death, RTS were required at the drop of a hat to provide various Traffic Management at the surrounding areas around St Paul's Cathedral. Our thoughts go out to the Iron Lady and her family and would like to thank everybody at RTS who helped make the funeral run smoothly.

RTS implemented Traffic Management for numerous sites in Tyneside to allow Traffic Surveys for Road Side Interviews to be carried out.

Road Closures and Heras Fencing supplied to assist a blue chip barrier company install vehicle and pedestrian gates for the State Opening of Parliament.

x6 new Traffic Management Operatives have been employed as well as a new 18T High Impact Protection Vehicle and 7.5T Lorry added to our fleet.

A full 2 week emergency closure of Regent Street implemented and maintained 24 hours a day on behalf of Westminster City Council.

RTS have been awarded a 78 mile Cycle Event in Cheshire this summer. AutoCAD Technicians are currently producing the plans while our surveying team are out on site liaising with the client.

High speed lane closures installed on the M25, M1 & M56 including the installation of Steel Vehicle Barriers.

Narrow lanes, Steel Vehicle Barrier & Temporary Road Markings installed on the A40 in London for 15 nights for major water works.

Various Traffic Management phases installed as and when required by the client in and around Westfield Shopping Centre to help cope with increased traffic due to A40 works.

Due to Road Traffic Solution's great reputation, we have been awarded yet another set of works within the Crossrail scheme.

Traffic Management installed in Brighton for a filming company to film the new Sky Sports advert.

RTS secure a new contract which entails producing an additional 50 - 100 Traffic Management Plans per month for a blue chip utility company.

The design stage is completed for the Resurfacing Scheme within the borough of Westminster due to commence early February.

Road Traffic Solutions would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas!

Directors are finalising an order for all operatives to carry hand held tablets to their jobs. This will allow high quality paperwork and photographs to be sent directly between the office and the operative no matter where he is in the country. To be brought in to operation early 2013, this will be sure to enhance the fantastic service that RTS give its vast client base.

RTS attain primary on-call responsibilities for UK Power Networks throughout the Christmas Period.

Contingency road closure plans in place with operatives on site at both Westfield Shopping Centre Stratford and Shepherds Bush over the busy Christmas period.

A406 Southbound Closure installed on numerous occasions for a major crane company throughout December.

November 2012

Congratulations to all staff at RTS who took part in this year's Movember, raising money and awareness for men's health.

E-ton Notice services are now up and running allowing RTS to apply on our clients behalf to work on telecommunication masts within the UK. This is a service which is rare amongst the Traffic Management industry and has proved valuable in securing additional contracts within this sector.

The RTS fleet of vehicles has once again been expanded to accommodate the recently employed additional staff.

October 2012

Various Traffic Management setups implemented around the London borough of Westminster to accommodate the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

RTS help make the Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Pennines Cycle Race in Durham a huge success in its introductory year.

RTS have begun to provide Temporary Trackway on site for our Cherry Picker clients where the machine must be situated off the carriageway.

September 2012

Hundreds of Traffic Management closures implemented for the London Triathlon which has once again proved to be a success.

The company has been awarded the contract to provide Traffic Management for the Brownstock Music festival 2012 in September.

The company has been awarded the contract providing Traffic Management for the Paralympics Marathon (9th September) and the Athletes parade (10th September).

August 2012

The Olympic games are now concluded and RTS have proven themselves to be a one of the best traffic management companies within the UK, providing a professional, competent service across all our contracts.

Major Crossrail contract commenced on Farringdon Road for various clients due to continue until June/July 2013.

July 2012

The company are performing well, above all expectations while working at Olympic events and receiving excellent feedback, well done lads keep it up.

The company has been awarded the contract to provide traffic management for the Olympic torch relay through the London borough of Camden, and received excellent feedback from the Mayor of Camden and council leaders on a job well done.

The company is currently gearing up for the Olympics with us providing the traffic management for the following events: Marathon, Triathlon, Road Race, Time Trial, and Race walk.

We have been awarded the traffic management and barrier contract for the Bramham International Horse Trials.

Awarded 100+ sites for a major blue chip telecommunications company around the UK.
